AMD's announcements were not limited to energy-saving processors from
the Ryzen 7000 series without X or even mobile processors during CES 2023 but
extended to include three Ryzen 7000X3D processors, which will lead the scene
during the new year thanks to the company's revolutionary 3D V-Cache
technology.
This proven technology should allow AMD to snatch the top spot in the
list of the best powerful gaming CPUs from Intel when it arrives next February.
The Ryzen 7 5800X3D was the only processor from the last generation
released with 3D V-Cache technology, and it has achieved widespread popularity
due to its performance outperformance even over the latest generation
processors and AMD claims to achieve huge performance gains in this generation
with these new chips that will work with socket ( Socket) the new AM5, saying
it will beat Intel's fastest gaming chip by up to 24% in some games.
The chips (processors) announced by the Red Camp during the exhibition
by Dr. Lisa Sawa, CEO of the company, all operate at a TDP level of up to 120
watts, as follows:
• The leading processor, Ryzen 9 7950X3D, with 16 cores, 32 threads, and
a speed of up to 5.7 GHz.
• The second processor is a Ryzen 9 7900X3D with 12 cores, 24 threads,
and a speed of up to 5.6 GHz.
• The latest processor is Ryzen 7 7800X3D with 8 cores and 16 threads
and a speed of up to 5.0 GHz.
Unfortunately, AMD did not share pricing information for the new X3D
chips but confirmed that it will reveal it in February, which is the same time
that the chips will be available for sale.
