As part of the activities of CES 2023, NVIDIA announced the expected
GeForce RTX 4070 Ti card, which aims to serve the middle-class performance this
year after the company introduced the GeForce RTX 4090 and 4080 cards last
year.
The new card comes to offer us the AD104-400 chip with 12 GB of GDDR6X
graphics memory, this chip includes 7680 CUDA cores with 240 Tensor cores and
60 NVIDIA ray tracing cores, which has proven it right to be better. Ray
tracing graphics engine.
It is worth noting that the card does not come with a cooler from NVIDIA
itself, ie there is no Founder's Edition for it. The card will only come from
third-party companies like ASUS and Gigabyte, and we won't see any first-party
versions.
What NVIDIA offers aims to play at 4K and 1440p resolutions, and at particularly
high frame rates with the latter, in order to provide an unparalleled
experience in the $800 category that the company is targeting through its
suggested market price. Also, do not forget that the card supports DLSS 3.0
technologies and ray tracing as usual, and this is to provide the best frame
rate with the best possible graphic quality.
This new card also outperforms the GeForce RTX 3090 Ti, offering up to 40 teraflops of shading, 93 teraflops of ray tracing, and 542 teraflops of DLSS.
