You may follow all of what we mentioned, but in the
end, you do not benefit from anything because you simply do not use the NVIDIA
graphics card that you own. The reason for this is often that the graphics unit
integrated into the processor is the default GPU for the laptop and for all
installed applications.
To control this, head to the Nvidia Control Panel,
then choose 3D Settings from the side menu. Here you can modify all settings of
programs that need graphic processing, including design programs. You can
specify which graphics card is used for all applications, or define special
rules for each application, including internal settings.
